Black rice pudding - healthy breakfast ❤️

Forbidden rice or black rice (in Tamil Kavuni arisi). Histroy says the emperors of China kept it forbidden from common people. But there is a history in Chettinadu of Tamilnadu.

It's been served specially for bridegrooms on the occasion of marriage to make the bridegroom special. The name in Tamil calls out as Kavuni arisi. Chettinadu Kavuni arisi sweet is a very famous dish. ( but I chose to do a sugar free dish)

This rice naturally has a nutty flavor. When combined with coconut milk...it turns to be goodness delicious ❤️ ❤️ ❤️..

Ingredients:
Black rice - 1/2 cup uncooked
Coconut milk unsweetened- as needed
Fruits of your choice (I have added mango & strawberry)

Steps:
1. Cook black rice by adding 1:2 water & pinch of salt. You can cook in pressure cooker or on stove top. (I did on stove top in low flame).

You can cook & store in refrigerator. I made the day before night & stored in a glass storage container.

2. Place cooked rice in a bowl. Add coconut milk & fruits to it.

Enjoy the delicious breakfast. You won't know what you missed until you taste it!!!
